2008 Puerto Vallarta Race News

02/26/08 06:00 PM Pacific Time - Well the real interesting portion of the race is about to begin, the jaunt across from Cabo to Puerta Vallarta. Most of the Divisions are very tight. Magnitude 80 looks to be in position to bext Pyewacket's course record, time will tell, but they should be first to finish-- although Beowulf may hang on to that. The rest of the fleet should pass Cabo with in the next 12 hours . Stay tuned for the exciting finish...

02/23/08 06:00 AM Pacific Time - The day #1 starters are moving right along. Today Division #3 starts at Noon PDT followed by Divsion #2 & #3 in 10 minute staggered starts. Below see a couple more pictures from Thursday's start and a picture of FIS Tracking crew member, Bill Borgstrom enjoying the SDYC ambiance and we think maybe some libations!
